You can also navigate the Timeline using the playback head, which is
the vertical blue line marking the current frame. Using the left mouse
button, you can click and drag that line to change the current frame.
That same line appears in several other animation related editors, like
the Graph Editor and the Dope sheet.
Tip: The shortcuts used at the Timeline Editor also works on all other
animation related Editors.
7.2 Creating a simple animation
Now that we know how to create keyframes and navigate in the Timeline
Editor, it is possible to create a simple animation. The purpose of the
animation is to make an object move in the 3D Viewport. You can use
any object as an example of the animation.
In our case, we can grab a text object that you can create using the
SHIFT+A keys and choosing the Text option. To edit the text contents,
go to Edit Mode with the text selected, and replace it as if you were in a
text editor.
For the animation, we can use the following data:
Length: 2 seconds
FPS: 30
Start frame: 1
End frame: 60
Change most of the settings for this animation in the Timeline Editor.
Only the FPS requires the Output tab at the Properties Editor to update
